Tickets for the event on sale now
The UR Choice program is hosting a fundraiser this Saturday to host the Lawrence County, Illinois Drug Court. Chairman Jerry Pacholski says UR choice was formed by a group of concerned citizens to support the work of the Drug Court. Pacholski says the UR Choice program offers habitual drug offenders an opportunity to get clean and become productive citizens again. Pacholski says its really their choice.
This year’s Dinner-Dance Fundraiser will be held this Saturday at the Bridgeport Elementary School Gym starting at 6 pm. Pacholski says the Dick Shoulders Big-Band All-Stars will provide the entertainment. There will also be a silent auction that participants can bid on items donated by local merchants. Tickets are 15-dollars and can be purchased at the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce office, Bridgeport City Hall or by calling Jerry Pacholski at 812-928-1507. For those who wish to skip the meal, tickets will be availabe at the door for 5-dollars
