Carolyn S. Cornwell, age 76 of Sumner, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Vincennes, IN at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born May 21, 1939 in Bridgeport to Charles and Bertha (Earnst) Price. She was known to many as Carol.
Carol married James “Jim” Cornwell, and he preceded her in death on February 18, 2016.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Victor Dana. Carol was the head of ministries for the Highway to Heaven Ministry.
Surviving family includes: three daughters- Teresa Schatz of Vincennes, IN, Tammy Guerrero and husband Cory of Sumner, and Debbie Frederick and Roy McDowell of Sumner: one son- Mike Cornwell of New Hampshire: five grandchildren: and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild, and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Sumner Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
