A southwestern Indiana sheriff says a man has died after a tree he was cutting down fell on him.
Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom says the 51-year-old Farmersburg man was cutting the wind-damaged tree in his backyard when it fell Tuesday.
The man’s name wasn’t immediately released.
Cottom says the man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Sullivan County coroner.
