Vincennes police are asking for your helping in finding a missing person.
28-year-old Aaron Lee Howard of 1716 Wabash Avenue in Vincennes was last seen on March 8th. Police started looking into his whereabouts on March 12th. They say he suffers from schizophrenia and mild mental illness and may have become disoriented.
He last posted on social media on the 8th when he mentioned needing medication. Some of his personal effects were found in the 2000 block of College near the lake in that area on March 9th, which a day after he was last seen.
Police say he is known to travel on foot in his neighborhood and the area around the YMCA Senior Center and Indian and Mirror Lakes. He also is a regular at the Hart Street Hucks and Tobacco Store and the Knox County and VU libraries.
Howard is a 28 year old, light skinned black male, approximately 6 foot 2 inches, and 140 pounds with brown eyes and thick dark hair.
