This morning at 6:30, Indiana State Police and Sullivan County emergency agencies responded to a two-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of US 41 just north of Main Street. The crash ejected one driver which resulted in non-life threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed a white 2003 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by 20-year Joshua Trueblood of Shelburn, IN., was northbound on US 41 at Main Street and failed to reduce speed or maneuver around, a commercial motor vehicle that had entered the northbound lanes of US 41. The Malibu then struck the rear of the truck and rolled over, ejecting Trueblood.

The truck was a 2012 International straight truck hauling building materials and driven by 32-year-old Joseph Stoll of Montgomery, IN. The truck was owned by GSG Trucking of Montgomery, IN. Stoll was not injured or cited.

Joshua Trueblood was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, abrasions and hand injuries. Trueblood was cited for no seatbelt and speed too fast to avoid a collision.

The crash was investigated by ISP Trooper Brent Robinson. Assisting was ISP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Master Trooper Matt Ames, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Thunderbird Fire/Rescue, Sullivan County EMS, and Recovery Towing.
