Morris L. Nowaskie, 84, of 2799 E. Henry Road, Vincennes, passed away at 11;20 am Friday March 4, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born in Vincennes on August 30, 1931 to Henry and Norma (Oexmann) Nowaskie.
Morris farmed and was in the trucking business for many years and proudly served his country in the Navy. His memberships included the St. Peter Lutheran Church and the V.F.W.
Surviving is his son, J.R. Nowaskie, and two grandchildren, Jessi Nowaskie and Jennifer Blagrave.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Thelma (Matthews) Nowaskie on January 27, 2016; his parents; and a sister, Shirley Bonner.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Rastl officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 am until the service. Online condolences may be made at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com
