Good Samaritan Hospital is reflecting on their impact on the Knox County community in 2015. Over the course of the past year, GSH provided over 27,000 free screenings. In addition to health screenings, GSH also provided information and education to area schools. Community Health educated students on healthy eating habits and activity. GSH introduced a new program to county students called Fit Kids to help fight obesity. The hospital also supports area residents through school and community sponsor ships. In 2015, GSH donated over $55,000 to various charitable causes in Knox County. Making a positive impact in the community is something GSH has striven to do in the past, and will continue to do so in the future.
