Raymond Earl Stovall, 85, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, formerly of Lawrence County, IL passed away January 17, 2016, in Arizona.

Raymond was born July 23, 1930 in Marrs Township, Posey County, IN, the son of James F. and Mable (Keysor) Stovall. He married his first wife, Jacqueline Cockrum who preceded him in death in November, 1967. He later married Virginia June (Wray) Warren Stovall and she survives.

Raymond was the owner of Stovall & Sons Oliver Equipment Company in rural Sumner, IL.  He also operated storage units in California and Arizona. He was a member of Lake Havasu Baptist Church and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Jacqueline, two brothers Robert Stovall, Raphael Stovall, son in laws: Darvin York Sr. and John Drake and one niece Cathy Hayden.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Wray) Stovall of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; children, Jeffrey Ray (Laura) Stovall of Athens, TN, Laura (Jeffrey) Johnson of Oblong, IL; step children, Kerry (Gay) Warren of Ringo, OK, Kevin Warren of Plymouth, IN, Alohna Warren of Dublin, OH, and Sabrina (Tim) Fredrick of Princeton, IN; brothers and sisters, Jim (Sharon) Stovall of rural Flat Rock, IL, Dick (Diana) Stovall of  Thompson Falls  MT,  and Ramona (Dick) Maney of San Clemente, CA. along with 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, 509 South Christy, Sumner, IL. There will be visitation on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the service hour of 2:00pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
