Weekend investigations and incidents result in fraud, alcohol and possession related arrests

-Saturday at 5-pm Vincennes police took 45-year-old Natalie E. Yochum into custody for fraud and forgery.  They say that on January 30th someone lost her debit/credit card at the Vincennes Plaza.   Yochum found the card and bought over $700 worth of items at a local retail store.  She also forged the signature of the card holder.

-A Vincennes man was jailed Saturday at 3:40 in Vincennes on a warrant for auto theft.  21-year-old Dakota L. Woolard was wanted for auto theft.  He was arrested at  Emison and Rousch Streets on Saturday.

Vincennes Police apprehended a wanted felon Saturday afternoon. Officers went to a residence in the 14-Hundred block of Harrison Street where they arrested Shawn Mincey-Carter. Police say Carter was wanted on several warrants for Escape, Resisting Law Enforcement, Criminal Confinement, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Handgun without a license. The Vincennes Fire Department and Police K-9 Unit Gary assisted in the arrest. Mincey-Carter was taken to the Knox County Jail.

-Sunday at 1-am, Vincennes police were at 8th and Scott where they arrested 32-year-old Kevin Eads of Vincennes for public intoxication.

-35-year-old Andrew John Meyer Anson of Vincennes was arrested at 3:04-am on Sunday for operating while intoxicated with endangerment and for having an expired license plate.  Vincennes police arrested him after a stop at 13th and Buntin.

-Sunday at 1:20-pm, 35-year-old Richard Meyer of Vincennes was arrested for domestic battery.  The alleged crime occurred after an investigation at 115 East Jefferson.

-25-year-old Shannon t. Catiller of Vincennes was jailed on numerous charges Sunday just after 5-pm. Cattiler was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance and on a warrant for intimidation.  That arrest took place at 204 Shelby Apartment 7 in Vincennes.
