The Vincennes Pet Port has a new project, making pads for the Animal Shelter.
Officials say it requires very little sewing and no hand stitching, but lots of stuff and cutting. The pads are made from old sheets, bedspreads, tablecloths, towels, tee shirts or fabric scraps. The smaller pieces can be made into chew toys.
Feburary 17th is Pet Port Day and that’s when a lot of cutting will take place at the Pet Port for the project. If you can’t go, donations of materials before then would be appreciated. For more information call 812-888-5879.
