Thelma F. Nowaskie, 85, of Vincennes, passed away January 27, 2016, at the BridgePointe Health Campus.
Thelma is survived by her husband, Morris Nowaskie; her son, J.R. Nowaskie, of Vincennes; sisters, Stella Lerch and Margaret Page; a brother, Louie Matthews; grandchildren, Jessi Nowaskie and Jennifer Blagrave; and two great-grandchildren.
She was born August 9, 1930, in Vincennes, the daughter of Elsie and Opal Matthews. Her parents; her daughter, Lisa Welton; and her sisters, Betty Page and Patty Like preceded her.
Funeral services for Thelma will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, at Goodwin Funeral Home, with Pastor Nathan Rastl officiating. Friends may visit with her family from 11:00 – 2:00 on Sunday. A graveside committal service will be held on Monday, at 10:00, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
