Michael A. Speth, 50, passed away at 2:00 am on December 25, 2015 at his residence in Bruceville. Michael was born on April 14, 1965 in Vincennes the son of Emery, Sr. and Shirley M. (Williams) Speth. He married Penney Lunsford on September 20, 1985.
Michael had worked for Gemtron for eleven years. Michael enjoyed his children and grandchildren and was an avid Dallas Cowboy, Cincinnati Reds and Jimmy Johnson NASCAR fan. He enjoyed listening to KISS and loved playing softball.
Survivors include his wife, Penney Speth of Bruceville; mother, Shirley Speth of Vincennes; daughter, Bethany Speth of Bruceville; son, Sean Speth and his wife Kacie of Vincennes; brother, Emery Lee Speth II and his wife Rena of Vincennes; sisters, Carla Greulich and her husband Bernie of Fortville, Cathy Johnson and her husband Bill of Evansville; and grandchildren, Owen Michael Speth and Hadley Alexis Perkins. Michael was preceded in death by his father and sister Patricia Fox.
Funeral services for Michael will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
