AT&T and Knox County officials announced today that the U.S. 41 Industrial Park has been certified as being Fiber Ready.It becomes just the third site in Indiana to receive certification.
AT&T President Bill Soards says the company is investing in high-speed Internet in urban and rural areas across Indiana using the latest wired and wireless technologies.
In today’s world, Soards said connectivity is vital to new employers and businesses of every type. He says there’s no such thing as a “low-tech” business today, so economic development leaders must be able to tout the presence of high-speed internet connectivity.
Knox County Development Corpoation President and CEO Kent Utt says with Fiber Ready certification, they’ll have a competitive advantage when talking to potential companies about their needs.
