Knox County Sheriff Mike Morris is offering some holiday tips to minimize the risk of your home being burglarized over the Holidays. He says changing the lighting system in your home will give the appearance that someone is home during evening hours.
Morris adds that if your going on vacation…it would be a good idea to invest in an alarm system. He says the Sheriff’s Department will respond to calls from a security system. Also Morris advises letting your neighbors know when your going to be gone so they can keep an eye on your house.
