Lillian June Joslin, 82, formerly of Bicknell, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, IL. June was born June 22, 1933, in Harrison Township, the daughter of Calvin and Louella (Junkin) McCoy. She graduated from Monroe City High School Class of 1951 and received a diploma in nursing through Good Samaritan Hospital. She married Kenneth Ray Joslin on September 10, 1955. June was active in 4-H and Rural Youth when she was younger.
June is survived by her daughter, Jo Lori (Jay) Singleton of Vincennes; sons, Jeffrey (Christine) Joslin of Mahomet, IL and Jay (Cendy) Joslin of Bicknell; grandchildren, Cal Joslin, Beck Joslin, Erin (Adam) Lubbehusen, Emily (Cory) Julian, Jared (fiance Ashton Keller) Singleton, Tyler (Leigh Ann) Singleton, and Kristen (Bob) Murphy; six great-grandchildren, Gunner, Gaige, Gradee, Gabriel Lubbehusen, Joslyn Julian, Eli Singleton, and two on the way, Jaxon Julian and Mya June Murphy; and sisters, Georgialee (Dr. Jerry) Like of Elberfeld, IN and Jerri Sue McCoy of Monroe City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth on November 7, 2008; and infant sister, Rita Lou McCoy.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Bicknell United Methodist Church with Pastor Steven Rundel officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM to time of service. She will be laid to rest at Fair View Cemetery in Vincennes. Arrangements are being handled by Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel.
