Former Vincennes City Councilman Mark Hill has been named the new Executive Director of the United Way of Knox County. Hill will succeed Angie Goff who is stepping down effective January 1st.
Goff informed the United Way Board back in Mid-September that she would be stepping down. She made the announcement early so the board could begin a search process for her successor. It would also give that person an opportunity to learn from Goff prior to assuming the position.
Goff says the Executive Director’s job is multi-faceted job and she was pleased with the announcement that Hill would be succeeding her. In addition to his duties on the City Council, Hill has worked with numerous civic groups and organizations.
