James A. (Jim) Lane, 81, of Decker

James A. (Jim ) Lane, of Decker Indiana passed away Wednesday November 18, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville Indiana.
He was born in Vincennes Indiana on April 1, 1934 to the late Ralph S. and Ruth (Laveron) Lane. Jim Attended Decker High School and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in agricultural.
Farming was his passion, along with visiting with family.
Jim was an Army Veteran during the Korean War and had great pride and love for the United States. He was a life member of VFW post 1157 in Vincennes.
Jim is survived by his son, James David Lane of Elkhart Indiana, and son-in-law Brian McKee, grandchildren Spencer McKee and Kendall McKee all of Newburgh Indiana,
Jim’s sister Marilyn “Ming” Querry of Urbana, Ilinnois.
Also surviving was Jim’s life companion “Bernie” Fishback and her children Glenn  (Desie) Fishback , daughter Carla (Glenn) Jacobs, James Fishback, David Fishback and Bernie’s grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by daughters Katrina Lane McKee and Regina Lane, also Jim’s brothers and sisters Robert Lane and John “ Jack” Lane, Sandra “ Sudie” McCaffrey, Marjorie Miller, Julie “ Judy” Rinne and Newana “ Wannie” Schultz.
Visitation and service will be held this Sunday November 22nd at Goodwin Funeral Home 524 Broadway Vincennes, Indiana with the Rev. Ray Tromley officiating.
