A fire Sunday morning at a Vincennes business remains under investigation.
Around 11 am a passerby spotted a fire at the Clip Joint Beauty Salon at 1617 North Second Street.
The motorist reported the fire to Vincennes University Police who in turn called the Vincennes city Fire Department. Battalion Chief Tony Jarrell says the fire was contained to the exterior of the building. There was minimal damage to the building.
Jarrell says the fire is suspicious in nature and remains under investigation.
Jarrell says about an hour before that incident….firefighters put out a fire in a mulch pit at the corner of 1st street and Red Skelton Boulevard.
