Good Samaritan Hospice will once again host its annual Light Up a Life Program this evening at 6:30 p.m. Light Up a Life is an annual fund raising and candle-lighting service held in remembrance of individuals who have passed away and in celebration of those living.
Jane Russell, Director of Continuum of Care says “Light Up a Life is a very special event where the Hospice staff can continue to support families and loved ones during their journey to live each day with hope and meaning.
Charitable contributions are greatly appreciated and ensures that Good Samaritan Hospice will be able to continue and provide the gift of care to patients and their families during the final season of life, regardless of their ability to pay. .
The candle-lighti service will be at 6:30 this evening at Highland Woods Community Center on Hart Street in Vincennes. Beverages will be available before the event and a reception will follow the ceremony.
