A Vincennes man was arrested for possession of synthetic drugs Saturday night. 51-year-old Karl Phillips was located in the 100 block of North 7th at 7-pm and booked into the Knox County Jail.

34-year-old James Bryant, the second of Vincennes was picked up Saturday evening on three outstanding warrants. Bryant was wanted on a Knox County Warrant warrant for a probation violation on an original charge of public intoxication and failure to appear on the public intoxication charge along with an unrelated charge of theft.

Vincennes Police arrested a local woman Saturday afternoon on drug related charges. 41-year-old Shana Brown was located at 11th & Scott Streets and taken into custoday charged with possession of marijuana.

18-year-old Cecil Isbell of North Manchester, Indiana was arrested Vincennes Police after failing to stop at property damage accident. The incident occurred at 505 College Avenue shortly befor 5 pm Saturday.

A Washington man wanted on warrants was arrested by Vincennes Police Saturday. Steven J. Potts Jr., 43 of Washington, was wanted for failure to appear at a pre-trial hearing for dealing in a schedule 2 controlled substance and cruelty to an animal.
