, 109, of Indianapolis, formerly of Sandborn, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2015. She was born in Knox County, Indiana on June 28, 1906 to George and Rosa (Kielblock) Klutey. Elsie became the wife of George L. Wilcoxon on July 22, 1921.

 

Elsie was a member of the Sandborn United Methodist Church and Missionary Society. She was a 50 year member of Order of Eastern Star #341, a 50 year member of Rebecca Lodge #864 and was a past President of Rebecca Association. Elsie was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker.

 

Survivors include: one daughter, Judy McEuin of Brentwood, CA; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two nieces, Donna Gaultney and Devon DeVore; one nephew, Edward Leroy Klutey; several great nieces and nephews.

 

Elsie was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, George Wilcoxon; two daughters, Eva Boehm and Maleva Ely; four sisters and three brothers.

 

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Sandborn United Methodist Church with Rev. Glen Archer officiating. Elsie will be laid to rest in the Sandborn Cemetery at a later date.

 

Family and friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 29.

 

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Sandborn United Methodist Church in memory of Elsie. Envelopes will be available at the church.
