Virginia V.  Whaley, 96, of Vincennes, passed away at 8:15 am on October 16, 2015 at Gentle Care Nursing Home in Vincennes.
She was born October 14, 1919 in Bloomfield to Ralph and Leola (Keene) Fleming.
Virginia was a homemaker and a dental technician for the Knox County Dental Lab. She was a member of the First Christian Church, and was a charter member of Eagles Auxiliary #384 in which she was the oldest living member.  Her hobbies included fishing, hunting mushrooms, playing bingo, and she was known as a great cook.
Surviving are her children, Dr. Richard (Alice) Whaley, Charlene (David) Lory, and Margery (Donald) Bilskie, all of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Randall (companion, Maria) Bilskie, Melissa (Robbie) Russell, David Lory Jr., James (Heather) Whaley, Julie (Mike) Lawrence, and Amanda (Benjy) Green; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph E. Whaley; and a sister, Lillian Hanks.
