Good Samaritan’s Gift Shop,has moved to a new location in the Gibault Memorial Tower and will be having a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate.
The ceremony will be tomorrow (Thursday) at 9:00 a.m. outside the Gift Shop entrance.
The shop is open seven days a week with 32 volunteers who work various shifts throughout the month.
The profits of the Gift Shop and fundraising activities through the Auxiliary compose the monies that are donated each year to the hospital.
Over the years, the Auxiliary has donated more than $1.25 million in equipment and furnishings to Good Samaritan.
The new gift shop is located on the first floor of the Gibault Memorial Tower between the Health Pavilion and Dayson Heart Center entrances.
