The Vincennes School Board will be holding a series of community meetings later this month on the future of the school corporation’s elementary schools.
Superintendent Greg Parsley says architects Myzak and Palmer will share with the findings of a feasibility study that was commissioned this past spring.
Parsley says the price tag for doing wholesale renovations to the elementary school buildings would be around 40-million dollars and would be spread out over several years. Parsley says that’s contingent on support among the public for the renovations.
The first public forum is scheduled for next Thursday, October 29th at 6 pm at Franklin Elementary School. Additional hearings will be held at Riley on November 4th, Vigo elementary on November 5th, November 9th at Tecumseh-Harrison and November 10th at Clark’s Crossing. All of the meetings are scheduled to start at 6 pm.
