he 2nd annual Walnut Grove Festival is this weekend. The event will be held on the grounds of the Grouseland in Vincennes.
Grouseland Executive Director Lisa Ice-Jones says this year’s festival is going to be bigger and better than last year’s event..
A fundraising event to kick-off the festival will be held this evening at Vincennes University’s Green Activities Centers. There will be a wide variety of food on the menu, as well as music provided by the coachmen.
On Saturday, the festival opens at 10 a.m. and continues on til 6 p.m. Ice-Jones says there will be free tours of Grouseland through out the day and vendors will be selling food.
