A motorist from Washington was life-lighted from the scene of an accident at US 50 and State Road 550 this morning.
Knox County Sheriff’s officials say it happened about 7:02-am when a semi was pulling from 550 turning east onto US 50.
Two cars were westbound when one car tried to pass the other and ran up under the semi.
The driver of that car, Fritz Pierre who resides in Washington had to be flown to an Evansville Hospital.
The road was closed until after 9-am.
