Kids will soon have new equipment to play on at Gregg Park. The City Council approved and decided to move forward with getting new equipment. The total Price of the equipment was set to cost around $96,203. After the 20% discount that Miracle gave the parks department for staying with their company… the total cost for the equipment is $92,252. Steve Beaman is the Superintendent of Vincennes Parks and he says the Civitan Club pledged $15,000 over the next 5 years to help with the cost. Along with that… Rotary and Kiwanis both put in play ground equipment not only in Gregg Park, but in other parks through out the city as well. Beaman says the equipment will be ordered today…
Beaman said there will be a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the new equipment once it’s installed.
