All over Indiana, cities and towns are doing more with less. Municipalities are balancing how to provide services for their citizens while reducing spending. That issue and other topics will be covered this week during the Indiana Cities and Towns Conference. About 800 local officials will converge in French Lick for the 3-day meeting. Executive Director Matt Greller says the issues are the same for every community–big and small. He says there is a focus on quality of life, walkability, parks and recreation-the kind of things that make you really want to live in a community.
