Recent arrests

 

Vincennes Police arrested a local man this morning on a warrant for meth-related charges. Officers went to the Presidential Estates around 8:30 this morning (Friday) and picked up 50-year-old Tracy J. Tweedy on a Knox County Warrant for possession of meth, marijuana and a syringe. He was booked into the Knox County Jail.

Vincennes police arrested Stephanie J. Petit at 7 last night for operating while intoxicated and neglect of a dependent. The arrest took place at Bowman Terrace.

Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Vincennes Man Wednesday in connection with a residential burglary. 31-year-old Nathaniel Catt is being held in the Knox County jail charged with burglary, theft and driving with a suspended license. Catt is being held without bond pending an initial court appearance.

Three Washington Residents were arrested on charges of theft by Vincennes Police Wednesday. 71-year-old Gary Burg and 35-year old Nikki Lynn Kristler are facing one count of theft.

49-year-old Penny Padgett also of Washington is charged with theft, failure to appear, possession of Marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. All three suspects are being held on 4-thousand dollars bond at the Knox County Jail.

59-year-old Michael Fields of Vincennes was arrested by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department on a charge of criminal recklessness. Fields bond at the Knox County Jail was set at 5-thousand dollars.

21-year-old Stephanie Petit of Vincennes was arrested by Vincennes following a traffic stop Wednesday. Petit is charged with neglect of a dependent and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Petit was taken to the Knox County Jail where she’s being held on 5-thousand dollars bond.
