The Knox County Community Foundation handed out over 43-thousand dollars in grant funding for 12-local projects at Wednesday’s Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Bandwagon.
Susie Battles with the Community Good Grants program acknowledged it was difficult narrowing down the list of applicants.
Among the groups receiving funding included Children and Family Services: CASA program, Holly’s House which provides services to victims of child abuse and the Vincennes Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope program which assists individuals seeking to better themselves financially.
Funding for the Community Good Grants Program comes from various groups and individuals who donate to the Knox County Community Foundation.
