Vincennes Community School Board Superintendent Greg Parsley will sign a five year rolling contract to remain superintendent until 2020. Before the contract can go through, a public hearing must be held under Indiana Law. V-C-S-C board President Pat Hutchison explains the reasoning behind the public hearing.
Parsley started as Superintendent at VCSC three years ago and Hutchinson is glad to have him on board for another five years.
After the hearing, the contract will go into effect after the state gives them their money to make sure teachers get their raises first. If all goes well, Parsley’s contract is expected to be signed around the beginning of the year.
