Gladys Mae Evans, 85, of Vincennes, passed away at 1:30 pm Friday September 18, 2015 at the New Willow Manor.
She was born November 13, 1929 in Jenkins, Kentucky to William and Lena (Wright) Lorrison.
Gladys was a homemaker, had worked as a Nurses Aid at Junod’s Nursing Home, and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving are her children, Stephen (Sandy) Evans of Vincennes, Jim Evans of Vincennes, David (Nancy) Evans of Vincennes, and Deloris “Dorie”(David) Watkins of Francisco; her brothers and sisters, William Lorrison Jr. of Carmel. Joyce Norrick of Wheatland, Peggy Hemry of Terre Haute, and Shannon Tate of Memphis, TN; along with seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Boyd Evans.
Funeral services will be held 1t 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Norrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
