Gloria Jean Grigsby, age 74 of Lawrenceville, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. She was born April 8, 1941 in Lawrenceville to Chester and Irene D. (Allen) Grigsby.
Gloria had previously attended the First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville.
Surviving family includes: her four siblings- Don Grigsby and his wife Elizabeth of Lawrenceville, Mary Betty Crews of Lawrenceville, Donna Wilson of Huntsville, AL, and Robert Dale Grigsby of Zephyr Hills, FL: and two sisters-in-law- Jo Ellen Grigsby of Nekoosa, WI and Janice Grigsby of Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Norman and Charles Grigsby.
A graveside service for Gloria will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery near Claremont, IL. There will be no visitation.
