It’s the biggest tourism weekend in Daviess County. The 44th annual Montgomery Turkey Trot runs Thursday through Sunday at the Montgomery Ruritan Park. And..the 31st annual White River Valley antique show is Friday through Sunday at the fairgrounds in Elnora.
At the Turkey Trot the weekend is complete with turkey traces, tractor pulls, mud volleyball, mud soccer and big name country music entertainment. Friday it’s Craig Campbell and Saturday it’s John Pardi. There’s also a carnival and flea market going on throughout the weekend.
At the Antique Show, it’s flea market galore as well. This year’s feature is Massey Harris/Ferguson Tractors and Gas Engines. There’s all types of antique tractors and antique to see. Demonstrations of various activities from the past, live music and more.
