Jeffrey A. Smith, 53, of Vincennes, passed away Sept. 2, 2015, in Lawrence County, Illinois.
Jeff worked at Robinson Grain in Fritchton, IN.
Born September 12, 1961, in Vincennes, he was the son of Jackie E. and Shirley (Driskill) Smith. Jeff grew up in Decker, IN.
Surviving is his mother and step-father, Shirley and Ray Yochum; his step-mother, Vickie A. Smith; his brothers, Jackie E. Smith and his wife, Carla, Joey Smith, and Troy Jones, all of Vincennes; his sisters, Barbara Smith and Libby Yochum-Gardner and her husband, Chris, all of Vincennes; his companion, Jeanne Agans of Vincennes, her children, Jessica, Jimmy and Eric, and her grandchildren, Aiden, Camdyn, Mallory, and Madison; his nephews, Matthew Smith, Cody Smith of Bruceville, IN, and Cory, Zachary, and Joshua Jones of Vincennes; his great-nephews, Mason, Nate, Bradley, and Ezekiel, all of Vincennes; his nieces, Kenzie Smith, Megan and Jenna Gardner, Paige Jones, and Jennifer Harris, all of Vincennes; his great-niece, Mira Smith of Vincennes; Aimee Cramer and Tracy Snider who he considered his daughters; their children, Julian, Kaitlyn, Maverick, MacKenzie and Payton; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins
Preceding was a son, Jacob Woodrow Smith, who passed away in infancy; his father, Jackie E. Smith; and his grandparents, Woodrow “Jesse” and Ada Belle Driskill, and Joseph and Arith Smith, who had lived in Decker, IN.
Friends may visit with Jeff’s family from 4:00 – 8:00 on Friday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, at 2:00. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
