Nancy E. Kellams, 69, of 325 N. Barclay Road, Vincennes, passed away at 4:55 amFriday, August 28, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born on September 9, 1945 in Vincennes to James “Lem” Lemuel and Norma (Spurgeon) Atkins.
Nancy retired from the office of Dr. Doyle Ellis DDS where she was the receptionist and Dental Assistant. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church and was a graduate of the Free Methodist Church.
Surviving is her husband, Bill Kellams, whom she married on July 3, 1965; her children, Norma McDonald of Loogootee and Brian Kellams of Vincennes; her brothers and sisters, Sue (Jim) Scott of Shoals, Sharon (Danny) Moyes of Clarksville, TN, Jim Atkins of Stonington, CT, and Dwight Atkins of Vincennes; and her two grandchildren, Eric and Ashley McDonald.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday August 31, 2015 at the Free Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Michael Ewert officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
