Charles “Chuck” Carie

Charles “Chuck” Carie, age 53 of St. Francisville, passed away at his home due to a heart condition on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. He was born to Ray and Margaret (Condiff) Carie on December 10, 1961 Lawrence County.

He married Debra “Belle” Spore Carie, and she survives.

Chuck was a Pipefitter for Union Local #136. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Chuck truly loved watching his kids in their extra-curricular activities (football, cheer, and soccer).

Surviving relatives include: his wife- Debra “Belle” Carie of St. Francisville: seven children- Kevin Carie and his wife Alyssa of Lawrenceville, Levi Carie and his wife Kayley of Lawrenceville, and Lyndsay, Maddie, Brenden, Emma, and Haley Carie all of St. Francisville: two step-children- Jamon Spore and wife Casey and Josh Carie and wife Natalie all of St. Francisville: one brother- Scotty Carie and wife Monica of St. Francisville: three sisters- Ellen Tewell and husband Steve of St. Francisville, Annette Cook and husband Robert of St. Francisville, and Frankie Spore of Vincennes, IN: 5 grandchildren: seven step-grandchildren: and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Marge Carie and one brother, Harold Carie.

A funeral service for Charles “Chuck” Carie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Cunningham-Nichols Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
