Danny L. Crump, age 75 of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 in Evansville, IN at Deaconess Hospital. He was born January 29, 1940 in Lawrenceville to George Calvin Crump and his wife Ruby.
Danny married Vickie Green in 1961, and she survives.
He was a proud member of the United States Army and was a former member of the American Legion of Bridgeport. He enjoyed working on cars, wood working, and just working with his hands in general.
Surviving family includes: his wife- Vickie Crump of Bridgeport: five children- Ochie Crump and his with Barb of Petersburg, IN, Robert Crump and his wife Helen of Holland, IN, Dannette Huffman and her husband Edward of Bridgeport, James Crump of Bridgeport, and Christopher Green and his wife Cristi of Edwardsport, IN: one brother- Carl Crump and his wife Kathy of Johnson City, TN: one-daughter-in-law- Steph Crump of Mattoon: twenty-two grandchildren: and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents- George Calvin Crump and Ruby Crump: one son- Calvin Crump: one great-grandson- Bentley Crump: and one brother- Ted Crump.
A funeral service will be held Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Bridgeport at the Cunningham Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow the services.
