The Indiana Department of Homeland Security, in conjunction with county emergency management agencies, is continuing to ask citizens and businesses to report uninsured damage. The deadline is July 29.

Director of Information John Ericson says the agency doesn’t have enough reports to consider applying for assistance from FEMA. It’s a difficult time for people who have sustained damage, But Ericson says they need to gather all uninsured damage reports quickly so they can accurately evaluate whether the state can consider applying to the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Indiana homeowners, renters, businesses and private non-profit organizations that sustained uninsured damage caused by recent severe storms and flooding can report damage online.
