Lynn M. Baker, 88, formerly of Vincennes, passed away at 5:35 pm Tuesday July 14, 2015 at The Terrace at Solarbron in Evansville.
He was born August 2, 1926 in Landes, Illinois to Clarence and Mildred (Messenger) Baker.
Lynn retired from Hoosier Gas as Office Manager. After retirement he worked at Fox Ridge Golf Course part time as golfing was one of his enjoyments. His memberships included the First Christian Church where he had served as a deacon, the Optimist Club, and Civitan where he was past-president.
Surviving is his wife, Pauline (Fornshell) Baker, whom he married September 4, 1948; his two children, Stan (Shirl) Baker of The Villages, FL; and Connie Barrow of Evansville; three grandchildren, Aaron Robinson, Matt Baker, and Bryan (Rachelle) Baker; and his great granddaughter, Kylie Baker.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his two brothers, Paul and Robert Baker.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm EDT Saturday July 18, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
