Don Lavon Davis, 73, Vincennes, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Don was born September 25, 1941, in Decker Chapel, the son of Owen and Ella Mae (Carson) Davis. He was a retired driver for Bradley Plumbing.
Don is survived by his daughter, Lori Davis of Vincennes; grandchildren, Jessica B. Burke of Monroe City and Austin J. Deaton of St. Francisville, IL; Mary Jo Davis of Vincennes; brothers, Rex Davis of Lancaster, CA and Delbert Davis of Vincennes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Sievers, Amy Groves, and Burrie Adams; three brothers, Robert Davis, Charles Davis, and Donald “Tom” Davis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Vincennes Chapel, 313 Church St. Funeral services will begin at 6:00 PM also at the funeral home with Rev.
