William Ross “Bill” Seitzinger, age 69 of Bridgeport and formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Vincennes, IN at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Vincennes, IN on May 15, 1946 to Eugene and Maxine (Fornshell) Seitzinger.
Bill was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan, served in the United States Army from 1966-1969, had worked in Olney with special needs individuals, and had also worked at the United Methodist Village in maintenance.
Surviving family includes: one daughter- Buffy Gosnell of Dundas: four sons- Dennis Seitzinger of Olney, Adam Seitzinger and his wife Stacie of Olney, Brian Seitzinger of Auburndale, FL, and Jon Seitzinger of Olney: one step-daughter- Tracie Nash of Bridgeport: four step-sons- Justin Kincaid of Sumner, Robert Kincaid of Olney, Millard Kincaid of Lawrenceville, Ray Kincaid and wife Angie of Lawrenceville: three brothers- Jim Seitzinger and his wife Rose, Larry Seitzinger, and Harold Seitzinger and his wife Nancy all of Lawrenceville: two sisters- Carol Seitzinger and Rita Seitzinger both of Lawrenceville: his first wife: Connie Jayne of Dundas: twelve grandchildren: seventeen step-grandchildren: five great-grandchildren and one on the way: seventeen step-great-grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents: his second wife Carol Brumbaugh Kincaid Seitzinger: one brother- Charles Seitzinger: and one niece- Penny Howder.
A graveside service will be held at the Sumner Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Military rites will be given at the cemetery.
