Some new exterior updates and renovations will soon be coming to The Farm Bureau building on north second street in Vincennes. The Vincennes Historic Review Board approved the renovations last evening, plus they also gave the go ahead on tearing down the old and unused Cincinnati Saloon. Farm Bureau Insurance occupies the first floor of the building, and the unused floors are being turned into apartments. The outside of the building is being updated as well with new windows and replacing some balusters. Andy Myszak, President of Myszak and Palmer Architects says the deteriorating Cincinnati Saloon has been neglected for many years and after being demolished will give someone an opportunity to come in and build.

Architects are planning on building a new garage nearby for the residents to use that will move into the renovated apartments up above.
