A Vincennes house fire has been ruled as an arson.
Vincennes Firefighters were dispatched around 10:33 p.m. Saturday to a report of smoke coming from the home at 1920 N. 2nd Street. When firefighters arrived on the scene they found fire in the back of the house but had it under control within 30 minutes.
The fire was contained to the property and no injuries were reported.
An investigator from the State Fire Marshal’s Office along with the Vincennes City Fire Department ruled the fire as arson.
