Indiana Conservation Officers are reminding us, again to stay away and out of rivers and streams after heavy rains.

DNR officers made nine water related rescues in four counties on Sunday.

Remember that flood conditions can loosen debris along the shore and crate logjams. Trees and debris seen at normal water level are now underwater which can damage and turn over boats.

Use caution if you have to be near flood waters and never drive through flooded or moving water.
