The Bloomfield Processing Company also known as Bloomfield Locker was destroyed by fire last night.  The plant located on 54 west of Bloomfield.

Firemen were called out at 6pm according to the Greene County Daily World.  Nine departments in all responded throughout the evening.

The newspaper says Brian Kollmeyer and his wife, Mary, have operated the popular and award-winning Bloomfield Processing Company since 2000, after they purchased the Bloomfield Locker Plant business from the late Dick Crays and his wife, Donna.

No injuries reported and no cause is determined as of yet.
