After high school Steve worked for WNOI in Flora as a newsman. He did community news and interviewed celebrities like Tex Ritter & Webb Pierce. From 1971 - 1973 he attended college at WVJC Mt. Carmel and announced on WVJC Radio.
Steve met his wife Beverly at college and married in 1973.
He was in the Louisville, KY market from 1973 - 1978. In 1978 Steve and Beverly moved to Lawrenceville. Steve began doing sign off at WAKO.
Steve is very familiar with the music we play on WAKO. He's had numerous interviews with Country and Rock Stars.
On the side Steve also has his on Mobile DJ service, doing weddings, reunions etc.
