A Sullivan County man arrested for animal neglect. Indiana State Police arrested David Weger, 38, Monday night after dogs and rabbits were found living in poor conditions on East Washington Street in Sullivan. 

Indiana Conservation Officers located the body of Ken Jones, 56, of Shelbyville, IL. in Turtle Creek Reservoir at about 8:20 last night in Sullivan County.

The Higher Bound House in Vincennes is asking for donations to help keep the doors open.

The trauma center at Good Samaritan Hospital has been verified as a Level III Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons.  

The Vincennes Fire Department now has in its possession a boat for water rescues.  

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is a big day for Washington and Daviess County as the state’s bicentennial torch run will stop through.

Paul D. “Joe” Longnecker, age 89 of rural Lawrenceville, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 in Vincennes, IN at Good Samaritan Hospital.

A replica of the Grouseland Rifle was presented to a Posey County man Sunday.

Indiana’s Bicentennial Torch arrived in Knox County last night. A caravan of vehicles carried the torch into Vincennes where 40 designated torch bearers had a hand in carrying the torch to Grouseland in Vincennes.
