Arvin graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1987.  After realizing a career as a male model was out of the question , graduated from Vincennes University in 1989 with an Associate degree in Broadcasting.  He worked for a couple of stations before being hired part-time at WAKO in 1991.  While working weekends for WAKO, he began working full-time at a country station.  He was hired to work evenings full-time at WAKO in 1995.  He doesn't quite know how it happened but suddenly he found himself working the afternoons.  (we think the scars on the forehead will eventually go away).

His hobbies include: walking, listening to music and fighting for truth, justice and the American Way while still finding time to draw black eyes and cheesy moustaches on 19th and 20th century dictators.
