Have you heard the news yet? Lawrence County Memorial Hospital now has a new general surgeon on the surgical team!
Dr. Faris AL-Gebory joined the LCMH surgical team at the beginning of October.
He most recently worked in the St. Louis Missouri region, attended medical school at Baghdad University-College of Medicine, which is a British Medical System Curriculum, and completed his surgical residency at New York Hospital-Queens Center, N.Y. and at Lenox Hill Hospital, N.Y.
He completed an advanced laparoscopic surgery fellowship at The Methodist Hospital, Houston Texas as well as a Surgery Fellowship for Trauma/Wound and Critical Care Surgery at the University of Missouri, Columbia Missouri.
Don Robbins, CEO of Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, says Dr. AL-Gebory is a very skilled surgeon and he will bring a new level of care to patients.
